Haven is a new and attractive, purpose-built care home designed to support our residents at all stages of their journey.

We provide residential and dementia care and our highly trained and dedicated team will be committed to providing the highest standards of care in a comfortable home from home environment.

Accommodation

Located in the pleasant area of Hatch End, our care home is only a short distance from local shops and other amenities.

Our spacious lounge areas provides a relaxing setting to listen to music, watch movies and enjoy the company of others.

The beautifully furnished en-suite bedrooms will be equipped with television and telephone points.

Residents are encouraged to add personal touches - such as pictures, ornaments and small items of furniture - to make their rooms feel more like home.

Dining is an event in itself, where sumptuous home-cooked meals are served daily in a restaurant setting;with dressed tables and daily menus.

Our home is wheelchair friendly so residents can access all areas with ease.

Activities

Everyone has the opportunity to participate in the social life of the home. Our residents’ hobbies are always actively encouraged and activities can be tailored to our residents’ individual needs and wishes.

The beautiful and well maintained sensory garden, with raised flower beds, is a delightful retreat, especially for those residents who enjoy a spot of gardening.

We offer a wide variety of activities and entertainment including bingo, quizzes, a library service, exercise classes, gardening, themed nights and day trips.

We pride ourselves on treating people as individuals, so all our residents have care plans tailored to their individual medical, social and emotional needs.

We review care plans on a regular basis and can involve family and friends in this process.

Our home is staffed 24 hours a day by a highly trained and experienced care team.

At Sanctuary Care we pride ourselves on employing the best staff and have stringent recruitment procedures in place. As an organisation, we invest in our staff and have our own Learning and Development Team who provide a wide range of training and personal development opportunities.

Following a recent external assessment, Sanctuary Care has retained the Investors in People accreditation for another three years. This is an international award that recognises how organisations utilise and develop their people.

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the independent regulator of health and social care in England.

The CQC regulate the care provided by the NHS, local authorities, private companies and voluntary organisations. The aim is to make sure better care is provided for everyone - in hospitals, care homes and people's own homes.

The CQC also seek to protect the interests of people whose rights are restricted under the Mental Health Act.
