International Nurses Day is on May 12, Florence Nightingale's birthday

Sanctuary Care would like to wish a very happy International Nurses’ Day to the fantastic nurses working in our care homes and hospital service.

12 May marks a day of celebrations across the globe, where people unite to show their appreciation for the amazing contribution nurses make to our society. The day is also a significant date as it is the birthday of Florence Nightingale, the iconic founder of modern day nursing.

Below, we celebrate our own Florence Nightingales and look at some of the amazing people we have working for us.
