Anastasia has risen through the ranks since starting her career as a Care Home Activity Organiser at the age of 19.
Now a Project Regional Manager overseeing at least 10 care home managers in the North and South West for Sanctuary, the accomplished 38-year-old said times are better than ever for women to aspire.
“If you have ambition, are tenacious and want to succeed, you should take every opportunity to develop and put your head above the parapet,” commented Anastasia.
Anastasia’s enthusiasm for her work and dedication in achieving qualifications, including the Health and Social Care Level 5 QCF, saw her gain promotions while at both Heart of England Housing and Care Ltd and Sanctuary Care, which she transferred to following an acquisition in 2010.
Her roles have ranged from a Care Assistant to the Manager of Ravenhurst Care Home in Stourport-on-Severn along the way.
Anastasia added: “Those various positions have 100 per cent helped me achieve and I couldn’t be as effective in my role now unless I had experienced them. I’ve found that Sanctuary is positive about providing equal opportunities and diversity, so if you have talent, determination and passion Sanctuary will nurture your potential.”
