Three-miles outside the centre of Chester, our new care home is a short drive from all the shops, cafés, pubs, library and other attractions the city has to offer.
Our dedicated team provide a range of care and support for residents, including residential care, dementia care, nursing care, palliative care and respite care.
Upton Dene has been designed to have all the luxuries you’d expect, with light and airy lounge and dining areas, which are beautifully decorated and furnished, a cinema room complete with a projector and cinema-style seating and spacious bedrooms with en-suite wet rooms, which provides a warm place for residents to rest and relax.
The care home also has tranquil sensory gardens and a hairdressing salon where residents can enjoy being pampered with beauty treatments.
Our spacious 74 bedrooms all have en-suite wet rooms, as well as internet access, telephone and television points. Sky TV accounts can also be set up in individual bedrooms if desired.
Bedrooms are beautifully decorated and furnished, although we encourage our residents to bring personal ornaments, pictures and small items of furniture to make their rooms their own.
Our light and airy lounges are areas for our residents to use as they wish whether taking part in activities, catching up with friends and family or simply reading a good book.
Residents can also watch their favourite film in the care home’s cinema room, complete with a projector and cinema-style seating.
Our dining rooms provide a welcoming atmosphere for our residents to enjoy delicious home-cooked meals in the company of others. We also have a private dining area which can be reserved by our residents and their loved ones for special occasions.
The sensory gardens are landscaped with raised flower beds and are perfect for our residents who like to do a spot of light gardening. The grounds also provide a lovely setting for people to enjoy the warmer months and are surrounded by pathways which are specially designed to be suitable for wheelchairs.
