Rewards and benefits

Supporting your Health and Wellbeing

At Sanctuary you can choose from a selection of benefits to support you and your family’s physical and mental health and wellbeing. A free and confidential helpline through our employee advice service provides support and advice to both you and your immediate family. Get fit and stay healthy for less with discounted gym memberships. With our health cash plan, you can claim money back towards your everyday healthcare costs and access a GP helpline 24/7. Go green, keep fit and save money by getting a bike through cycle to work.

Promoting your Financial Wellbeing

Our employee benefits can also help you save for the future, protect your loved ones and support your financial wellbeing. In addition to contributing to your pension scheme to help you save for retirement, through our company paid life assurance *, we will pay a lump sum should you die whilst working for us. Critical illness cover * is available at discounted rates for you and your family.

Travelling to work can be expensive, so we can provide a season ticket loan * for a London Oyster card. Every so often a legal or financial problem can come along, so our Employee Advice Service is there with free financial education and legal advice.

Maintaining your Work-life Balance

Sanctuary supports a healthy work-life balance and can help you make savings every day with retail and lifestyle discounts. Our flexible and family-friendly working arrangements and maternity, paternity and adoption leave mean you have the time to make the most of your growing family. Through charitable giving, you can donate to charities close to your heart. Sometimes our life outside of work can be a source of pressure and stress, so our Employee Advice Service also provides advice and support on all aspects of family and relationships.

Recognising your Value

We offer a recognition bonus and other cash awards, including a lump sum to thank you for contributing to the high standards of care if your Home gets a positive rating **. We also strive to ensure that employees feel that going the extra mile is valued and that your hard work and input is appreciated every day.

At Sanctuary Care our number one priority is to keep our residents, their relatives and our staff safe.

With the increasing number of reported cases of Coronavirus in the UK, we have taken the difficult decision to minimise all non-essential visits to our residential and nursing homes until further notice. These include routine visits from loved ones and friends, entertainers, hairdressers, volunteers, work experience students and school parties.

We have not taken this decision lightly and understand this will be upsetting for relatives who want to visit loved ones. We do feel this is the best way to keep our residents safe and is one of many proactive, preventative measures we are taking to stop this infection getting into our homes.

We do hope you understand why we are taking these precautions. Please don’t hesitate to call if you would like to speak to us directly if you have any questions or concerns.
