A carer with a big heart and even bigger smile celebrated 30 years of working at a Sanctuary Care home in Droitwich recently.
“I just love coming here,” she said. “The best bit about working at Westmead is seeing the residents happy and doing the very best you can for them.”
The 61-year-old added: “I should be retiring but I don’t want to go – it keeps me young!”
Home manager Sue Stokes, added: “It has been an absolute privilege working with Christine, she is a dedicated and experienced member of the team and is a real asset to Westmead.”
Fellow colleague, administrator Tina Quinn said: “Chris is a very bubbly person - always happy, singing and laughing - she could brighten up anyone’s day and is like part of the furniture here.”
The team and residents at Westmead presented Christine with cards and flowers during a party to celebrate her anniversary.
