Four Sanctuary Care homes have scooped prestigious awards for being rated top in their local areas.
Shaftesbury House Residential Care Home in Ipswich has been ranked number 1 out of 54 care homes in Ipswich and Brambles Residential Care Home came top out of all the care homes in Redditch, while Chadwell House Residential Care Home scooped second place for recommendations in Romford.
The website’s scores are based on recommendations from residents and the friends and relatives of residents at care homes from across the UK.
One recommendation is from Margaret Gayfer whose mother, Winifred Pansy Pryke, moved into Shaftesbury House Residential Care Home in August 2013. Margaret rated the home as ‘excellent’ in all areas and said:
“This is my first experience of having to place a parent in care. The help given to my mother – and myself as well – with all the various changes taking place was offered with great understanding. My mother feels safe and happy here.”
Director of carehome.co.uk Davina Ludlow said: “Sanctuary Care’s recommendations show that these care homes are providing a great service and we’d like to congratulate the teams at all four care homes on being recommended so highly in their local areas! It’s a brilliant achievement to be recognised for your hard work - but particularly from the people who you work hard for.”
