There will be bargains a plenty at a Droitwich day care centre’s charity sale.
Local people are invited to Sanctuary Care’s Westmead Day Care, which provides day care for the elderly, on Saturday 13 September (10am-noon).
There will be plenty of stalls to browse, selling children’s games and toys, ladies clothes, books and bric-a-brac.
For those who just fancy having a natter over a cuppa, there will be refreshments and cakes.
Money raised at the event will go to the Droitwich Stroke Club, which runs a social club for people who have had a stroke.
Manager at the centre, next door to Westmead Residential Care Home, Jacqui Brown said: “Our day care service is a real lifeline for many local people, so we are proud to be helping a Droitwich charity to support people in our town.”
Westmead Day Care runs affordable morning and afternoon sessions every week day and is a place where people can come along and make friends and take up a new hobby in a warm and friendly environment.
