Coventry’s own Lady Godiva will ride along to open a Sanctuary Care home’s summer fete.
Pru Porretta will be in her traditional attire for the event at Lammas House Residential Care Home on Saturday (6 September 9.30am-4.30pm).
The fete will give people from the local community a sneak preview of the home following internal refurbishment works.
Pru, who has been an ambassador of the city for over 25 years, playing the role of Coventry’s Lady Godiva, will be there from 9.45am until 10.15am.
There will also be a bouncy castle, a barbecue, live music, an ice cream van and stalls at the home, which provides residential care.
Home manager Rukmi Silva said: “A huge amount of work has been put into refurbishing our home and my team and our residents think it looks beautiful.”The address is Lammas Road, Coventry, CV6 1QH.
