Thanks to an abundance of glowing reviews from residents and their loved ones, Sanctuary Care has scooped a national award from a leading online guide to care homes.
For the first time ever carehome.co.uk has revealed brand new categories for care home providers in its annual awards, with Sanctuary Care going head to head with 128 other providers to receive a Top 20 Recommended Large Care Home Groups 2016 award.
Davina Ludlow, Director of carehome.co.uk, said: “This year, we are very pleased to have been able to add a new category to our carehome.co.uk awards for the top recommended care home groups.
“We wanted to show the huge difference that care home groups, which put compassion and respect at the heart of their care, make to people’s lives.
“Sanctuary Care has proved that it provides excellent care throughout its homes and we’d like to congratulate it on being a top large care home group! We feel it is a real achievement to be recognised for being in the Top 20 most recommended care home groups by the very people you care for.”
On hearing the news Sanctuary Care’s Managing Director Mark McCarthy said: “I am enormously proud of the teams in our 68 homes who care for our residents with such genuine compassion. Our ethos is ‘Keeping kindness at the heart of our care’ and we employ people who whole-heartedly embrace this. This award is for them and the exceptional standards of care and support they deliver to our residents and their loved ones each and every day.”
In addition to this award, five of Sanctuary Care’s homes have picked up prestigious accolades for being ranked in the top 20 homes in their regions based on reviews.
