Sanctuary Care’s homes across Worcestershire are hosting some fabulous Care Home Open Days this Friday.
Friday 17 June marks the fourth annual Care Home Open Day, when homes nationwide welcome people to share a special day with their teams and residents, forging lasting links with their local communities. Sanctuary Care’s Worcestershire homes, which provide residential care and dementia care, are wholeheartedly supporting the event for the fourth year running.
At Hastings Residential Care Home in Barnards Green Road, Malvern, the team and residents are inviting people to a sing-along and tea party from 11am, followed by a performance by Sanctuary’s own staff choir and English afternoon tea from 2pm.
In Worcester, at Juniper House Residential Care Home, Oak View Way in St John’s, one of Mexico’s top Salsa dance instructors Edwin Rodriguez will be holding a dance class for people of all ages and abilities at 11am.
There will be mouth-watering cakes and refreshments available throughout the day, plus live musical entertainment in the afternoon, between 2pm and 4pm.
