Richard’s mammoth cycling task for Dementia UK is fast approaching (41 sleeps to be precise) and it’s only fair he looks the part for his record-breaking 100 climb challenge.
Wearing Sanctuary Care’s colours with pride, Richard and his team of volunteers will be hitting hills across the country in yellow and blue branded tops.
Trying them on for size
Already trying them on for size, Richard has swapped his usual attire for his training kit, while also showing the team at Redhill Court Residential Care Home when visiting his mum Peggy.
Richard said: “I love my new kit - it’s very bright and includes all relevant links and logos to my fundraising mission which I hope as many people notice – every little helps for spreading my message further – thank you Sanctuary Care!”
Home manager at Redhill Court, Jacqueline Minihane (pictured) added: “The kit is lovely and Richard looks very smart, what he’s doing is very inspirational and I’m pleased he will look the part.”
As part of the main sponsorship, Sanctuary Care has not only donated £5,000 towards Richard’s fundraising mission but has also paid for the cyclists to be kitted out in style.
