Our Oxfordshire care homes are throwing open their doors to host summer fetes for all the family to enjoy in August.
On Saturday 20 August, between 2.30pm and 5.30pm, the team and residents at Yarnton Residential and Nursing Home are hosting a summer fete to remember with stalls galore including face-painting and a cake stand, where our award-winning chef will choose the best bake of the day.
There will also be a dog show, a special visit from our four-legged donkey friend and live music from Andrew Francis to enjoy, as well as mouth-watering barbecue refreshments for a small donation.
Meanwhile, Iffley Residential and Nursing Home is opening their doors on Saturday 13 August, 2pm – 4.30pm for a day of stalls and games including guess how many sweets in the jar, a tombola and much more!
Youngsters will be able to enjoy face-painting fun and ice cream from our very own van. Delicious cakes and other refreshments will also be available in exchange for a donation.
In Watlington, residents and the team at Watlington and District Nursing Home are welcoming the public along to their annual fete on Saturday 13 August, between 2pm and 4pm. A range of stalls and games will be available, from bric-a-brac to mouth-watering cakes.
