A Sanctuary Care home in Oxfordshire is set to have a dabbing good time as they throw open the doors with a group of local scouts.
Bingo hosted by scouts
Residents and the team at Wantage Nursing Home in Garston Lane are inviting local people along to their community bingo evening, hosted by youngsters from 4th King Alfred Scouts on Monday 24 April, eyes down at 7pm.
From ‘garden gate number eight’ to ‘knock at the door, 24’, young scouts, aged 10 to 14, will bring down the ‘house’ when they call out the all-important numbers, as part of their community badge.
The Sanctuary Care home’s activities assistant Wendy Pill said: “Our residents adore when the young scouts pop into the home and they always make such an effort so we hope lots of local people can come along and support them for a fun evening of bingo.”
