A Sanctuary Care home in Wolverhampton is hosting a free event to support people in the community affected by dementia.
The team at East Park Court Residential Care Home are hosting a free dementia awareness café this week on Thursday (13 April), between 2pm and 4pm and the event will take place at St Matthew’s Church in East Park Way.
Free support and meet with fellow carers
The team will be offering support for those caring for a loved one living with dementia. It will be a great opportunity to meet fellow carers and people who have experience of living with dementia.
The home’s activities leader Roxanne Cullis said: “Carers in the community can sometimes feel very isolated so we want to give people the chance to meet others in a similar position to show them that they are not alone.”
Tea, coffee and refreshments will be available.
The address for those wishing to attend the event is:St Matthew’s Church, 7 East Park Way, Wolverhampton WV1 2ND.
