A Sanctuary Care home in Iffley has been the scene of celebrations after the home was awarded ‘Good’ by regulator Care Quality Commission (CQC).
Following an unannounced inspection, Iffley Residential and Nursing Home in Anne Greenwood Close achieved ‘Good’ ratings in all five outcomes, including ‘caring’, ‘well-led’ and ‘effective’. Inspectors highlighted how “staff showed kindness and consideration towards people they supported”.
To celebrate, residents and the team held a fabulous high-tea party with mouth-watering cakes.
“…dedicated to providing the best possible care…”
Speaking about the report, home manager Sue Stubberfield, who was described as “down-to-earth”, “helpful”, “accommodating and always willing to help”, said: “My team are dedicated to provide the best possible care with kindness for our residents so we are all over the moon that this is reflected with such a positive rating.
“The positive comments from our residents and their loved ones are truly heart-warming to read and makes everything that little bit more rewarding. We are all so proud and we will continue the hard work.”
Kind, caring and knowledgeable staff
