The cakes will be baked to perfection and a singer’s vocal chords warmed up ready for a Care Home Open Day celebrating in Hatfield next week.
On Friday 16 June, between 10:00am-12:00pm and 2:00pm-4:00pm, people from the local community are invited to Sanctuary Care’s Hatfield Residential and Nursing Home to enjoy a very special celebration.
Fine china and vintage music
The fine china will be out, the floral bunting will be hung and an abundance of mouth-watering high-tea refreshments including homemade cupcakes will be available when the Tamblin Way home throw open the doors.
There will also be toe tapping music from the 1950s and 1960s from singer and guitarist Jamie Cameron in the afternoon and the team will be dressed to impress in their finest vintage attire for the nostalgic celebrations.
“…please come along and create some special memories with us.”
Hatfield’s activities assistant Kim Knight said: “Our residents love a good celebration and particularly enjoy it when people from their community give up a little of their free time to come and join them, so please come along and create some special memories with us.”
The address is Tamblin Way, Hatfield, Hertfordshire AL10 9AX.
