The cakes will be baked to perfection and a singer’s vocal chords warmed up ready for a Care Home Open Day celebration in Greenwich.
On Friday 16 June, between 11:00am-12:30pm and 2:00pm-4:00pm, the team and residents at Sanctuary Care’s Riverlee Residential and Nursing Home, in Franklin Place will welcome people from the community along for a very special occasion.
Garden games, music, Pimm’s and much more
The theme for the free event will be a vintage summer garden party with traditional garden games for all to enjoy, including skittles and hula hoops.
In the afternoon there will also be live music entertainment from Miranda Richards at 3pm, with mouth-watering refreshments and jugs of Pimm’s available throughout the day.
The Sanctuary Care home’s manager Cecilia Agadzi said: “Our residents love welcoming people into their home for special events, so do join us for what promises to be a really memorable day.”
