There will be live music, fabulous company and fancy cupcakes when Sanctuary Care homes in Wolverhampton host Care Home Open Day celebrations.
On Friday 16 June, between 10:30am-12:00pm and 2:00pm-4:00pm, people from the local community are invited to Lime Tree Court Residential Care Home in Bilston and Highcroft Hall Residential Care Home in Bushbury.
Both homes will be throwing open the doors for this annual event, where care homes across the country invite people to share a special day of celebrations with their residents and teams.
Picnics and petticoats
At Lime Tree, which is in Ettingshall Road, there will be a ‘Picnics and Petticoats’ theme, with crafts in the morning, live music in the afternoon and mouth-watering cakes and refreshments.
Vintage summer garden party
Meanwhile at Highcroft Hall, in Old Fallings Lane, there will be a vintage summer garden party theme, with garden games in the morning, live music in the afternoon and tea party refreshments available.
The theme for this year is friendship, so if anyone would be interested in attending and making some new friends at either home, please drop in.
