The cakes were baked and iced to perfection at a Sanctuary Care home’s Care Home Open Day celebration in Hatfield recently.
On Friday 16 June, people from the local community were invited to Hatfield Residential and Nursing Home in Tamblin Way to enjoy a very special celebration.
The fine china and floral bunting were out, there was live music from the 1950s and 1960s and of course an abundance of mouth-watering cakes.
Hatfield’s activities assistant Kim Knight said: “Our residents absolutely love tea parties so were very excited about our event.
“There was lots of laughter, smiles and singing throughout what was a very jovial day.”
