A Sanctuary Care home in Hatfield is gearing up to celebrate Halloween with a special ball.
On Tuesday 31 October, residents and the team at Hatfield Residential and Nursing Home on Tamblin Way will be donning beautiful masks for a fun masquerade celebration.
There will be an abundance of gems, glitter and vibrant coloured feathers with the home’s staff and residents creating their own masks during activities sessions to wear at this special Halloween event.
Amy Hall, activities assistant at the Hatfield home said: “Our residents love Halloween as it is something they haven’t always celebrated, creating the masks and Halloween grotto has been great fun and we are really looking forward to the ball.”
Commenting on the home’s fantastic Halloween grotto, 91 year-old resident Ivy Woodward (pictured) added: “It is just so wonderfully decorated!”
