There were spooky goings on in a Sanctuary Care home in Ivybridge this Halloween, as residents enjoyed a fiendishly fantastic day.
The team and residents at Ivydene Residential and Nursing Home had a ghoulishly great time when they hosted a spook-tastic party, with fancy dress, themed games, spook-tacular decorations and a homemade pumpkin cake.
The Sanctuary Care home’s activities leader Lucy Cassidy said: “We all had a great time celebrating Halloween; the residents love it when we get dressed up and they were all pleasantly surprised by the pumpkin cake!”
83-year-old resident, Dot Pope added: “We played some great games; I loved the ‘spider splat’ – it was a bit sticky and flew everywhere but just so much fun.
“The pumpkin cake was delicious!”
