There was animal magic when residents from a Sanctuary Care home in Greenwich received a visit from a unique collection of critters.
Creepy crawlies and furry friends took centre stage at Riverlee Residential and Nursing Home on Franklin Place, as residents enjoyed an animal-handling show.
Getting up close, residents and the team held snakes, giant snails and many more captivating creatures from Zoolab – who provide live animal-handling workshops across the UK.
The trained ranger, who brought the animals to the Greenwich home, was also on hand throughout the interactive session to answer any of the residents’ questions and share interesting facts about their visitors.
The home’s activities assistant Philip Kum added: “Our residents had a great time with Zoolab! They were all so brave holding the snakes and lizards and the room was full of laughter.”
