Residents at a Sanctuary Care home in Stourport-on-Severn are getting set to spread Christmas cheer and goodwill as they embrace Elf Day.
Embracing their inner elf, the residents will enjoy a day of festive fun with carols from the Lickhill Primary School Choir followed by an exciting performance from a traditional Elizabethan dance troupe.
A cause close to our hearts
Speaking of the special day, 90-year-old resident Sheila Watson said: “I’m really looking forward to Elf Day; it’s lovely here when everyone dresses up for fun and it’s even better when it’s for a charity close to our hearts at Ravenhurst.”
Activities leader, Carla Siwicki added: “Our residents are really excited for Elf Day, especially for the visit from the children from Lickhill Primary.
“It’s such a lovely way to celebrate the festive season, whilst also giving us the opportunity to raise awareness for a fantastic charity, Alzheimer’s Society.”
