Event: Raising a cuppa for charity at Upton Dene

The team and residents at Upton Dene Residential and Nursing Home in Caldecott Close are inviting local people to their tea party celebration in aid of Dementia UK on Thursday 1 March, between 2.30pm and 3.30pm.
Visitors are invited to pop along and enjoy a hot drink and variety of sweet treats and scrumptious home baked cakes for the special occasion, in return for a donation to Dementia UK.
The Sanctuary Care home’s manager Dawn Smith said: “We have supported Dementia UK’s Time for a Cuppa for the past few years as it’s a cause so close to all of our hearts here at Upton Dene.
“Our team have pulled out all the stops to make this special day a success, so whether you like scones or indulgent chocolate cake there will definitely be something for you to enjoy!”

About Time for a Cuppa
Time for a Cuppa is Dementia UK’s annual fundraising event; a national day which brings people together over a cuppa to raise money for the charity to fund Admiral Nurses, specialist dementia nurses who provide care, advice and support to families living with dementia.
