A trip down memory lane for street party celebration

There will be fun for the whole family to enjoy next week as a Sanctuary Care home in Hatfield host their annual Summer Fete.
On Sunday 1 July between 2pm and 4pm, the team and residents at Hatfield Residential and Nursing Home on Tamblin Way, will be donning vintage tea dresses and throwing open the doors and inviting their local community along to their 1940’s Street Party themed summer fete.
There will be a scrumptious barbeque and live entertainment to enjoy along with a range of stalls selling bric-a-brac, other refreshments and arts and crafts.
Speaking of the festivities the Sanctuary Care home’s manager Mary Tolladay said: “Our annual fete always proves to be a great afternoon, with something for the whole family to enjoy!
“Our residents are already looking forward to getting dolled up to welcome our local community in true 1940s street party style.”
