Pre-employment screening

Once your application has been received, the Manager of the home will be in contact with you to advise if you have been successful in being invited to interview. Unfortunately, due to the vast number of applications we receive, we are unable to respond to every application.

Pre interview

You will be asked on your interview invite to bring with you certain paperwork that will used to undertake a Criminal Convictions check (DBS in England, PVG in Scotland) and for Right to Work in the UK, these are mandatory requirements for any employee in a care regulated environment. An explanation of documents required will be provided in your interview invite.

Interview

At interviews you will be assessed by the Home Manager through a series of values and experience based questions, in many cases the Manager may be able to offer you a position on the day.

Offer

If an offer is made, the home will ask you to complete further paperwork which will assist with your on boarding process; they will also ask you to come back in with any additional paperwork that is not presented on the day.

On boarding

Once you have completed all the paperwork and provided your documents, we will progress with a Criminal Convictions check (DBS in England, PVG in Scotland) and send a link to you for you to complete your reference details. At this point and when all other compliance actions are complete, the Manager will contact you to arrange a start date.
