Garside House Nursing Home is situated in Pimlico in the London borough of Westminster.
A stone’s throw from the Vauxhall Bridge over River Thames and the Tate Britain gallery, the home is close to Pimlico Tube Station.
Our dedicated team provide a range of care and support for our residents, including nursing care, dementia care and palliative care.
We welcome visits from family and friends and have an open door policy, so whether loved ones like to pop in for a coffee or take part in an activity, we encourage them to become part of the community within our home.
Our 40 bedrooms have television points and we encourage our residents to make their rooms their own, by bringing personal ornaments, pictures and even small items of furniture.
With several lounges, there are plenty of areas for our residents to use as they wish, whether they enjoy catching up with friendly faces or simply reading a good book.
In our dining rooms our residents enjoy home-cooked meals, with Halal and menus available.
Our home also has an activities room where our residents enjoy a wide range of stimulating and varied activities.
The patio garden includes raised flower beds and a seating area.

Whilst they receive a variety of on-going training to ensure their skills remain up-to-date, along with an enhanced DBS check (formerly CRB), it is their dedication to our residents which makes them truly special.
We believe it is important that our residents spend their time as they choose, so we have a dedicated activities person to support them to take part in interesting activities, rekindle old past times and try new things.
Regular activities on offer include everything from baking to arts and crafts, plus our residents enjoy regular visits from entertainers and intergeneration projects with local school children.
We pride ourselves on treating people as individuals, so all our residents have care plans tailored to their individual medical, social and emotional needs. We review care plans on a regular basis and involve family and friends in this process wherever possible.
