Care homes in the South and South West

We have 10 care homes in the South and South West regions, which provide a range of residential care, dementia care, nursing care, palliative care and respite care.

Our two residential care homes in Hampshire are situated in the attractive areas of Basingstoke and Bordon. Our South West nursing care homes are spread around the region, with many a stones' throw from seaside towns in Somerset and Devon.

On the outskirts of Basingstoke, Old Basing is a tranquil location with many beautiful spots including the historic ruins at Basing House. Along with pubs, cafés and boutiques, as well as popular village events such as the annual Old Basing Carnival, plus Festival Place shopping centre, there is plenty to do here.

Known as one of Hampshire’s green towns Bordon, which is set in Woolmer Forest, is best explored on foot with countless trails. It also features a large nature trust, The Deadwater Valley which is a haven for wildlife.

Elsewhere our care homes in Somerset are situated in Weston-super-Mare, Minehead and Bridgwater.

Our care home in Weston-super-Mare overlooks the seafront. Along with spectacular views over to Wales and down to Exmoor, the seaside town features everything you’d expect, including the famous Grand Pier.

Our remaining nursing care homes are located in other popular locations in Somerset. Positioned where Exmoor meets the sea and the starting point of the South West Coast Path National Trail, Minehead is the perfect location for keen walkers. Meanwhile, Bridgwater, a traditional market town, boasts a fine range of pubs, restaurants and shops, as well as a cinema, theatre and museum.

From Exmouth’s picturesque views, the city of Plymouth’s 1793 distillery to Exeter’s award-winning Royal Albert Memorial Museum, there are a wealth of places to explore in Devon.

A beautiful port town, Penzance is located on the shores of Mount’s Bay, which is home to the largest preserved mine, Geevor Tin, contemporary art gallery The Exchange and one of the few remaining 1930s lidos The Jubilee, as well as Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens.
