Types of care

Choosing the right care home can sometimes be overwhelming – particularly if you’re not sure what type of care your loved one needs.

Our helpful and friendly teams are here to offer help and advice on the most appropriate type of care.

Whether it’s residential care for someone who is finding it increasingly difficult or lonely living in their own home, or someone who needs specialist nursing or dementia care, our home managers can offer guidance and support during a chat over a cup of tea.

Once the care requirements are clear they will guide you through the next steps whilst providing reassurance and a friendly ear during what can be, an emotional time.

Paying for your care

We appreciate understanding the complexity of paying for care can be overwhelming. That is why we work closely with accredited independent financial advisors to ensure you have the necessary expert advice available.

Whilst the cost of living in one of our care homes varies depending upon the home and the care and support needs a resident has, you can rest assured the price includes round the clock care and support as well as all meals, utilities and activities.

A wide range of added services are available which may incur an additional charge include hairdressing services, chiropody and physiotherapy.

Please speak to one of our home managers for more information.

CORONAVIRUS UPDATE:
NOTICE TO VISITORS

At Sanctuary Care our number one priority is to keep our residents, their relatives and our staff safe.

With the increasing number of reported cases of Coronavirus in the UK, we have taken the difficult decision to minimise all non-essential visits to our residential and nursing homes until further notice. These include routine visits from loved ones and friends, entertainers, hairdressers, work experience students and school parties.

We have not taken this decision lightly and understand this will be upsetting for relatives who want to visit loved ones. We do feel this is the best way to keep our residents safe and is one of many proactive, preventative measures we are taking to stop this infection getting into our homes.

We do hope you understand why we are taking these precautions. Please don’t hesitate to call if you would like to speak to us directly if you have any questions or concerns.
