The enclosed gardens at Peel Gardens are truly stunning, following a recent £20,000 transformation. Our therapeutic sensory garden features aromatic plants such as lavender and rosemary, creating a calming and meaningful space for residents living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
Designed with accessibility in mind, the gardens include:

- Wheelchair-friendly pathways
- Raised flower and herb beds
This tranquil outdoor area is enjoyed all year round by residents with a wide range of physical needs.
What Is the Food Like at Peel Gardens?
Mealtimes are an occasion to look forward to at Peel Gardens. Our long serving Head Chef, Stacy, prepares fresh, wholesome, homecooked meals every day. Whether it's a traditional Lancashire hotpot or something more adventurous, Stacy is always happy to cook dishes tailored to individual preferences.
Afternoon tea is a highlight too, complete with freshly baked cakes and treats.
