With views over the hills, our care home in Malvern is in the picturesque area of Barnard’s Green. We have a wonderful reputation in our local community. Providing not-for-profit residential and dementia care, we also provide respite care breaks, which can be booked in advance.

Our team are passionate about enriching the lives of our residents. Some of our staff have been with us for over 10 years.

Life at our Malvern care home

We are passionate about supporting our residents to do the things they enjoy. Like resident ambassador Edith, who runs her own knitting sessions (more below). In her role Edith also loves welcoming new residents and providing feedback on everything from the menu to activities.

We have beautiful woodland gardens with wheelchair-friendly pathways. The Kennedy suite is a stunning and wonderful new place for residents to enjoy activities and live music.

Residents enjoy everything from Tai chi sessions and reminiscence activities to arts and crafts. We regularly discuss current affairs in our ‘news chat’ sessions. And children from local schools love to visit our residents at Hastings Care Home, Malvern.

What are the bedrooms like at Hastings Care Home?

Our care home in Malvern boasts spacious and beautifully decorated bedrooms, many of which overlook the Malvern Hills. The bedrooms also boast ensuite walk-in wet rooms.

Welcoming loves ones

Our residents' family and friends are an essential part of our care home. We warmly welcome them to visit whenever they like. We have regular residents’ and relatives’ meetings. And we love keeping everyone up to date on what we’ve been enjoying through our private Facebook group.

Our Day Care Club at Hastings

Our affordable day care club gives older people the chance to make friends, explore hobbies, and enjoy new experiences. Each day includes varied experiences, a homemade lunch, afternoon tea and refreshments. Enjoy crafts, games, singsongs, pet therapy, and more.

Available on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10am to 4pm. £55 per day.

Pricing information

It is common for residents in care homes to contribute to the cost of their care home fees. Some people have the resources to pay for this in full, whilst others make means-tested contributions.

Our weekly fees are individual to each of our residents due to the difference in care requirements and are subject to a pre-admissions assessment.
