A Sanctuary Care home in Chester had a special reason to celebrate, after the home was included in a prestigious care home guide.
The team and residents at Upton Dene Residential and Nursing Home on Caldecott Close enjoyed homemade cakes and a glass of fizz in celebration of the home’s inclusion in Knight Frank’s Luxury Care Home Guide 2018 – UK Edition.
Upton Dene which provides residential, residential dementia and nursing care was selected alongside the UK’s finest care homes, following a nomination by Sanctuary Care.
The welcoming Chester care home is complete with light and airy lounge and dining areas, which are beautifully decorated and furnished and has spacious en-suite bedrooms. There is also a cinema room with a projector and cinema-style seating, a hairdressing salon where residents can enjoy being pampered and tranquil sensory gardens.
Speaking about the home’s inclusion in the guide, a representative from Knight Frank said: “Upton Dene is an outstanding care home that offers both fantastic facilities to residents and their relatives.
“It is a credit to Sanctuary Care and their vision for the sector”.
