Update from Sarah Clarke-Kuehn, Group Director – Sanctuary Care, 1 February 2022

Sanctuary Care Director Sarah Clarke-Kuehn

We are pleased to share that we started welcoming more loved ones into our homes across England from Monday 31 January. This is an exciting step which we very much welcome here at Sanctuary Care and all our teams are thrilled to be inviting more friends and families through our doors, in a safe way.

Naturally, as before, all visiting will be on a pre-bookable basis, but we will no longer be restricted to nominated visitors, and our residents can continue to enjoy visits with loved ones outside our home. Also our visiting guidance for Essential Care Givers will also continue. Our devoted teams will, as always, be here to support you and your family as we navigate through this new chapter for care home visiting.

We can’t wait to hear the lovely stories from our residents and loved ones, who after some time, are being reunited again. And while this is great news for all, I do want to reassure you that the safety of our fabulous residents, their loved ones and staff will always remain our priority so you can enjoy being together again.

If you do require home-specific updates on visiting, we urge all loved ones to speak with our Home Managers or our care home teams on wider guidance, including our PPE guidance. For those enquiring about care, our friendly Enquiry Support Team can answer any questions you may have.

We hope you find this update useful. If you do have any questions for your local care home manager, please find their contact details here or for those looking into care options, our friendly Enquiry Support Team advisors are only a phone call away on 0800 917 0478.
