Pride and Joy at Forefaulds

The team and residents at Forefaulds Care Home in East Kilbride have been celebrating Pride Month in spectacular style. The home was transformed into a sea of colour for a Pride party, with rainbow themed décor and balloon arches. The staff and residents were equally vibrant, with sparkly accessories to reflect the spirit of Pride!  

They embraced the festivities, wearing glitter face paint, stick-on tattoos, and even spray-on hair colour! The atmosphere was full of celebration, with everyone joining in to show their support for love and inclusivity.  

Thanks to the beautiful weather, Activities Coordinator Kirsty Bagan and the Forefaulds team moved the party outdoors into the garden, where the residents enjoyed the sunshine, live music and a delicious buffet prepared by the home’s chef.  

Kirsty said: “The garden was full of laughter, music, and heartfelt conversations.  

“The music, combined with the sunshine and the overwhelmingly positive energy, created a truly magical experience.  

“It was a memorable day filled with the sentiment that ‘love is love’ - a lovely reminder of our care home’s values of kindness, respect and togetherness.”
