Tony's Journey
At Sanctuary Care, we are dedicated not just to the quality of our care homes, but to the people who help shape them. Tony Kirby’s story is a powerful example of how we invest in both — creating welcoming environments for our residents and rewarding careers for our staff.
"I love working for Sanctuary Care. I love that I have a voice and they have such a good way of tapping into your skills. They have invested so much in me, and I feel really positive about my journey and progression."
Julie-Ann's Journey
Since joining Sanctuary Care in 2010, Julie Ann has demonstrated unwavering commitment, compassion, and professional growth. Julie Ann’s dedication to Care and her desire to grow led her to Watlington and District Care Home, where she was supported through the Overseas Nursing Programme.

Vicky's Journey
Our Trevarna home are celebrating Vicky Taylor, their first apprentice to embark on the Registered Nurse Degree Apprenticeship programme, following her dream of becoming a nurse.
“To graduate as a nurse will be a dream come true. I would encourage anyone considering an apprenticeship to do it, it’s really rewarding!”
