Rahela’s infectious enthusiasm and creativity enriches her residents’ lives – from joyful group events like her wild west rodeo, to meaningful personal experiences, like supporting residents to volunteer in the community, this is just the beginning for this rising star.
- Joanne Sheppard, Home Manager at Redhill Court Residential Care home in Kings Norton, Birmingham, Care Leadership of the Year
Joanne’s visionary leadership and compassion have created an exceptional team at Redhill Court. Joanne has created a culture where co-production is a way of life – residents are empowered to shape decisions on how the home is run and use lifelong skills in meaningful ways.
- Debbie Roberts, Domestic Supervisor at Briarscroft Residential Care Home in Shard End, Birmingham – Care Housekeeper of the Year
Nominated not just for her meticulous standards and immaculate cleanliness, but for always going the extra mile, whether baking birthday cakes and engaging residents in meaningful experiences, to coming into the home when not on shift to take residents on outings.
- Ellie Meredith, Team Leader at The Beeches Residential Care Home in Northfield, Birmingham, Carer of the Year
Nominated for her deep empathy and intuition, as well as her creativity, which she uses to help her connect with and support residents in meaningful, personalised ways.
