Time Court is an attractive care home with lovely gardens located in a residential area of Charlton.

The care home is close to several shops, eateries and is a 15-minute walk from Woolwich Dockyard train station, providing direct access to London and all its wonderful attractions.

Our dedicated team provides a range of care and support for our residents, including residential care, nursing care, palliative care and respite care. The care home also includes its own day care centre which is run by AGE UK.

Our care home has been designed with the usual comforts you’d expect such as a welcoming lounge area, a light and airy dining room, beautiful gardens and cosy bedrooms, which provide a warm place for our residents to rest and relax.

The care home also includes a place of worship, a cinema room and an activities room, as well as a hairdressing salon.

However it’s the small personal touches and our friendly team, who care for our residents as if they were members of their own family, which make Time Court a true home from home.

We welcome visits from family and friends and have an open door policy, so whether loved ones like to pop in for a coffee or take part in an activity, we encourage them to become part of the community within our home.

We hold regular meetings for residents and relatives, enabling our residents and their loved ones to be directly involved in everyday life at Time Court.

Accommodation

Our spacious 56 bedrooms are all en-suite and have television points.

Bedrooms are tastefully decorated and furnished, although we do encourage our residents to bring personal ornaments, pictures and small items of furniture to make their rooms their own.

Our spacious lounge area is for our residents to use as they wish, whether catching up with friends and family or simply reading a good book.

Residents can also enjoy take part in activities in the comfort of the care home’s activity room, as well as watch their favourite film in our very own movie room, complete with a projector and cinema-style screen.

We have one large dining room which provides a welcoming atmosphere to enjoy delicious home-cooked meals in the company of others.

The beautiful gardens are landscaped with sensory planting and raised flower beds for our residents who like to do a spot of light gardening. The garden acts a lovely focal point for summer parties and also features a pond, water feature and pleasant seating areas.

Regular activities on offer include everything from painting, a reading club, bingo, puzzles and quizzes, arts and crafts, movement to music sessions, karaoke and live music entertainment.

Home-cooked meals

Our catering team prides themselves on preparing nutritious, seasonal home-cooked meals, along with mouth-watering home-baked cakes for afternoon tea.

Residents help us to shape the menus and our catering team spends time with them to get feedback on the dishes and their likes and dislikes. They are also able to cater for a variety of dietary requirements.

Breakfast includes a wide variety of choice from cereals and toast to a traditional cooked breakfast.

Lunch and dinnertimes see a selection of sandwiches, homemade soups, salads, jacket potatoes and hot meals such as a Sunday roast with all the trimmings and favourites including fish and chips, cottage pie and a hearty casserole.

There is also an array of snacks and refreshments available throughout the day for residents and their loved ones if they get a bit peckish.

The range of personal care services we can provide, in partnership with local professionals, include:

  • Chiropody

Our team

Our care team is on-hand 24 hours a day, every day of the year and staff are dedicated to delivering care with kindness.

To ensure we continue to provide the best standards of care and support to our residents, we recruit and train only the best staff.

Whilst they receive a variety of on-going training to ensure their skills remain up-to-date, along with an enhanced DBS check (formerly CRB), it is their dedication to our residents which makes them truly special.
