Highcroft Hall is an attractive care home located in a leafy residential area in Wolverhampton.

Three-miles outside the city centre and a short walk from Bushbury Hill, our care home is situated close to shops, restaurants, a theatre and other attractions.

Our dedicated team provides a range of care and support for our residents, including residential care, dementia care and respite care.

Our care home has been designed with the usual comforts you’d expect such as welcoming lounges with fireplaces, light and airy dining rooms, a coffee shop, landscaped gardens and cosy bedrooms, which provide a warm place for our residents to rest and relax.

However it’s the small personal touches and our friendly team, who care for our residents as if they were members of their own family, which make Highcroft Hall a true home from home.

We welcome visits from family and friends and have an open door policy, so whether loved ones like to pop in for a coffee or take part in an activity, we encourage them to become part of the community within our home.

We hold regular meetings for residents and relatives, enabling our residents and their loved ones to be directly involved in everyday life at Highcroft Hall

Accommodation

The home has 52 spacious en-suite bedrooms and are tastefully decorated and furnished.

Residents are encouraged to bring personal ornaments, pictures and small items of furniture to make their rooms their own.

Our dining rooms provide a welcoming atmosphere to enjoy delicious home-cooked meals in the company of others.

The enclosed gardens are landscaped with raised flower beds for our residents who like to do a spot of light gardening.

Activities

We believe it is important that our residents spend their time as they choose, so have a dedicated activities person to support them to take part in interesting activities, rekindle old past times and try new things.

We have a hairdressing salon and our residents also enjoy being pampered with manicures and hand massages.

Regular activities on offer include everything from baking, light exercise classes, reminiscence sessions, animal therapy, arts and crafts and live music entertainment.

Our residents also take part in regular day trips to museums, art galleries, theatre shows, pub lunches and shopping trips.

Throughout the year, our care home hosts regular themed community events such as summer fetes and Christmas fairs.

Home-cooked meals

Our catering team prides themselves on preparing nutritious, seasonal home-cooked meals, along with mouth-watering home-baked cakes for afternoon tea.

Residents help us to shape the menus and our catering team spends time with them to get feedback on the dishes and their likes and dislikes. They are also able to cater for a variety of dietary requirements.

Breakfast includes a wide variety of choice from cereals and toast to a traditional cooked breakfast.

Lunch and dinnertimes see a selection of sandwiches, homemade soups, salads, jacket potatoes and hot meals such as a Sunday roast with all the trimmings and favourites including fish and chips, cottage pie and a hearty casserole.

There is also an array of snacks and refreshments available throughout the day for residents and their loved ones if they get a bit peckish.

We pride ourselves on treating people as individuals, so all our residents have care plans tailored to their individual medical, social and emotional needs. We review care plans on a regular basis and involve family and friends in this process wherever possible.

Our team

Our care team is on-hand 24 hours a day, every day of the year and staff are dedicated to delivering care with kindness.

To ensure we continue to provide the best standards of care and support to our residents, we recruit and train only the best staff.

Whilst they receive a variety of on-going training to ensure their skills remain up-to-date, along with an enhanced DBS check (formerly CRB), it is their dedication to our residents which makes them truly special.
