
The team and residents at Don Thomson House Residential Care Home in Harwich are spreading Christmas cheer with their local community during December.
Christmas Fayre, 1 December
Decking the halls in festive spirit, the Low Road home are throwing open the doors to host their annual Christmas Fayre on Saturday 1 December, between 10am and midday.
There will be fun for all the family, including a range of stalls to enjoy, as well as carol singing from Harwich Sing Choir, Santa’s Grotto and scrumptious seasonal refreshments.
Entry is just 50p per adult and free for children. To meet Santa in his grotto there will be an additional cost of £1.50 per child, where they will receive a small gift.
Boxing Day Tea
Meanwhile on Boxing Day, residents and the team want to invite community members who may be spending the festive time alone to join them for Boxing Day Tea on Wednesday 26 December, 3pm – 6pm.
Meet new faces over some festive refreshments including mince pies, and enjoy games and activities with our friendly team and residents.
