Types of care

Choosing the right care home can sometimes be quite overwhelming – particularly if you’re not sure what type of care your loved one needs.

Our helpful and friendly team is there to offer help and advice on the most appropriate type of care.

Whether it’s residential care for someone who is finding it increasingly difficult or lonely living in their own home, or someone who needs specialist nursing or dementia care, our home managers can offer guidance and support during a chat over a cup of tea.

Once the care requirements are clear they will guide you through the next steps whilst providing reassurance and a friendly ear during, what can be, an emotional time.

Paying for your care

We appreciate understanding the complexity of paying for care can be very overwhelming. That is why we work closely with accredited independent financial advisors to ensure you have the necessary expert advice available.

Whilst the cost of living in one of our care homes varies dependent upon the home and the care and support needs a resident has, you can rest assured the price includes 24 hours care and support as well as all meals, utilities and activities.

A wide range of added services are available which may incur an additional charge such as hairdressing services, chiropody and physiotherapy.

Please speak to one of our Home Managers for more information.

Extra care

In Sanctuary’s extra care schemes people have their own apartment, which are available to rent or part-own, with care and support available should your needs change over time.
