Caton House is an attractive care home located in a quiet residential area of Bletchley.
Situated on the outskirts of Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, our home is a stone’s throw from the magnificent heritage site Bletchley Park and the town centre, with all the shops and restaurants this has to offer.
Our dedicated team provides a range of care and support for our residents including residential care, nursing care, dementia care, palliative care, day care and respite care.
Our care home has been designed with the usual comforts you’d expect such as welcoming lounges, a light and airy dining room, a small library, an aviary, courtyard-style garden and cosy bedrooms, which provide a warm place for our residents to rest and relax.
However it’s the small personal touches and our friendly team, who care for our residents as if they were members of their own family, which make Caton House a true home from home.
We welcome visits from family and friends and have an open door policy, so whether loved ones like to pop in for a coffee, take part in an activity or admire the bird collection in our aviary, we encourage them to become part of the community within our home.
We hold regular meetings for residents and relatives, enabling our residents and their loved ones to be directly involved in everyday life at Caton House.
We have 61 spacious bedrooms, including seven double rooms for couples. All of our bedrooms have telephone and television points.
Bedrooms are tastefully decorated and furnished, although we do encourage our residents to bring personal ornaments, pictures and small items of furniture to make their rooms their own.
We have several lounges for our residents to use as they wish, whether taking part in activities or catching up with friends and family.
For our residents who love to read a good book, we also have a cosy library and invite the local library along every fortnight to refresh the titles available.
Our dining room provides a welcoming atmosphere to enjoy delicious home-cooked meals in the company of others.
The courtyard-style garden has seasonal potted plants and a paved seating area, plus an aviary with a beautiful bird collection, including diamond doves.
Caton House’s features include:

Our care team is on-hand 24 hours a day, every day of the year and staff are dedicated to delivering care with kindness.
To ensure we continue to provide the best standards of care and support to our residents, we recruit and train only the best staff.
Whilst they receive a variety of on-going training to ensure their skills remain up-to-date, along with an enhanced DBS check (formerly CRB), it is their dedication to our residents which makes them truly special.
We believe it is important that our residents spend their time as they choose, so have a dedicated activities person to support them to take part in interesting activities, rekindle old past times and try new things.
We have a hairdressing salon and our residents also enjoy being pampered with manicures and hand massages.
Regular activities on offer include everything from baking, animal therapy, pantomimes, quizzes, bingo, live entertainment and arts and crafts.
We pride ourselves on treating people as individuals, so all our residents have care plans tailored to their individual medical, social and emotional needs. We review care plans on a regular basis and involve family and friends in this process wherever possible.
The range of personal care services we can provide, in partnership with local professionals include:
- Optical care
- Dental care
- Key worker
Our catering team prides themselves on preparing nutritious, seasonal home-cooked meals, along with mouth-watering home-baked cakes for afternoon tea.
Residents help us to shape the menus and our catering team spends time with them to get feedback on the dishes and their likes and dislikes. They are also able to cater for a variety of dietary requirements.
Breakfast includes a wide variety of choice from cereals and toast to a traditional cooked breakfast.
Lunch and dinnertimes see a selection of sandwiches, homemade soups, salads, jacket potatoes and hot meals such as a Sunday roast with all the trimmings and favourites including fish and chips, cottage pie and a hearty casserole.
There is also an array of snacks and refreshments available throughout the day for residents and their loved ones if they get a bit peckish.
If you would like more information about our care home or have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
We would also be delighted to offer you advice or arrange an informal visit to our care home so you can see first-hand the excellent services and facilities we have to offer.
