Our devoted team provides a wide range of care services, including residential care, dementia care, as well as nursing care and palliative services (also known as end of life care), making Caton House a home for life.
So should care needs change over time, for example, if you or your family member requires dementia care or requires additional nursing care support, our highly experienced staff are there for you every step of the way.
We also offer short and long term pre-bookable adult respite care breaks, so caregivers looking after elderly relatives at home can enjoy a well-deserved rest. And your loved one can enjoy a short break of their own.
With en-suite bedrooms, engaging activities and home-cooked meals – including freshly baked cakes for afternoon tea, Caton House provides a welcoming home from home. We also have rooms for couples if needed.

With two dedicated activities coordinators, who both have specialist dementia care training, there is always something going on!
From our knit and natter group to gardening and afternoon teas, social interaction is something our residents are never short of at Caton House.
We even have a choir, which is particularly helpful for our residents who live with dementia, as music therapy is wonderful for reminiscence.
Nestled on the outskirts of Milton Keynes, on the Buckinghamshire border, there are lots of places to visit locally. From garden centres in Milton Keynes, Bletchley Park and a golf course right on our doorstep.
The local schools in Bletchley also love to join us for intergenerational activities – during recent times, they have kept in touch through a pen pal scheme, sending letters and cards.
Caton House also has a hairdressing salon, with a mobile hairdresser who visits us and other care homes in Milton Keynes and Buckinghamshire. Our staff also provide pamper sessions, with manicure and hand massages.
Located in a very peaceful area, surrounded by retirement bungalows, the two enclosed gardens are lovely spots to relax.
The main courtyard-style garden has a large patio area with lots of seating, potted plants and bright hanging baskets. The second is in the atrium, at the heart of the care home. Smaller in size, sensory planting fills the space, which stimulates the senses for our residents receiving dementia care. In addition, both of the gardens are suitable for wheelchairs, ideal for when family and friends visit.
Our most recent Care Quality Commission (CQC) report commended our professional staff at Caton House for their caring and kind nature. Rated 'Good' in all five of the areas inspected, we are understandably very proud.
Highlights of the report include high praise from our residents, with extracts including: "The staff are always really nice, they smile and make little jokes" and "The staff are very caring, they do all they can for you. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else."
We have a team of highly trained nursing staff that deliver tailored care plans to meet our residents' increasing needs. Whether they require nursing care, palliative care or end of life care because of progressive disease, life-limiting or terminal illness or need convalescence following a spell in hospital, we are here round the clock.
It may be that you would like to support your family member with the transition to long-term residential care, or they need assistance with day-to-day tasks or simply companionship. They may have age-related conditions, including memory loss and dementia or are simply becoming more frail. You may be looking for a short-term break from caring in the form of adult respite care, with the peace of mind that your loved one is in safe hands. We are here.
It is usual for residents in care homes to contribute to the cost of their own care. Some people have the resources to pay for this in full, whilst others make means-tested contributions.
The weekly fees are individual to each of our residents and are subject to a pre-admission assessment, which is required to truly understand the level of care and support needed.
Our 2022 weekly care fees for residential care start from £1,144 and £1,418 for nursing care, but maybe in the region of 20% more*, dependent on your care needs and the type of bedroom that is right for you, from our standard rooms through to our premium bedroom options.
*If you require more specialist care such as 1-2-1 support your weekly fee could be higher.
