Lime Tree Court embraces Silver Sunday

A Sanctuary Care home in Bilston, Wolverhampton will be stepping back in time as they celebrate Silver Sunday this week.
On Sunday 7 October, between 2pm and 4pm, the local community a are invited to Lime Tree Court Residential Care Home in Ettingshall Road, where the team and residents will be hosting a fabulous fifties tea dance.

There will be live music from across the decade, as well as a delicious high tea menu for everyone to enjoy.
The team will also be looking picture perfect as they dress head to toe in a-line dress, polka-dots and braces galore for the rolled back occasion, while the home will be adorned in fifties decorations – including a homemade fifties car prop.

The Sanctuary Care home’s activities leader Tracey Skinner (pictured) said: “Silver Sunday is such a special day – it is all about our wonderful residents and older people in the local community - and the contribution they make and have made over the years.
