Activities at our care home in Cambridge
Our team are passionate about enriching the lives of our residents. We hold sensory sessions, which are especially therapeutic for our residents living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
We have our gardening club and residents love growing their own. There is also an enclosed courtyard garden in the centre of the residential home, with raised beds.
Other activities include gentle exercise sessions. With our own hairdressing salon, pamper days are popular, with hand massages and manicures. We also have a spacious lounge for bigger celebrations with friends and family, sing-alongs and movie afternoons, with popcorn and ice cream.

Cambridge is a short drive from the home, and there is the beautiful Orchard Park within walking distance, as well as the stunning Challis Gardens in Sawston.

Our Head Chef makes mealtimes a real highlight of the day, with nutritious home-cooking every day. Nothing is too much trouble, from poached to scrambled eggs for breakfast to freshly baked cakes with afternoon tea.

Pricing information
It is usual for residents in care homes to contribute to the cost of their own care. Some people have the resources to pay for this in full, whilst others make means-tested contributions.
Our weekly fees are individual to each of our residents and are subject to a pre-admission assessment, which is required to understand the level of care and support needed. Our 2024 weekly care fees for residential care start from £1,157 but may be in the region of 30% more*. This depends on your care needs and the type of bedroom that is right for you, from our standard rooms through to our premium bedroom options.
*If you require more specialist care such as 1-2-1 support, your weekly fee could be higher.
