Located in the beautiful residential area of Durleigh, The Rosary is a beautifully refurbished Jacobean-style care home and boasts two fantastic communities; Primrose and Snowdrop.
With a team dedicated to providing care with kindness, residents are supported to live life to the full in beautiful surroundings.
Primrose offers smaller, individual suites which providing both residential care and nursing care. It has welcoming lounges, which are the perfect place to enjoy activities, relax with a good book or catch up with family and friends, who are welcome to visit at any time. Nearly all of the bedrooms are en-suite and come with television and telephone points. The home also has Wi-Fi.
Snowdrop House is a purpose built community for people living with a dementia that also require nursing care. All of the bedrooms include wet rooms and fitted furniture, with many offering garden views. The communal areas open up onto a secure, sensory gardens where residents can enjoy spending time in the sun, or taking part in gardening clubs. The staff are trained specifically to support those living with a dementia, as well as providing support to their loved ones, who are welcome to visit at any time.
Our stunning care home is set across four smaller and more intimate ‘communities’, all named after the local hills. Nearly all of our 102 spacious bedrooms are en-suite, with telephone and television points.
Bedrooms are tastefully decorated and furnished, although we do encourage our residents to bring personal ornaments, pictures and small items of furniture to make their rooms their own.
We have several welcoming lounges for our residents to use as they wish, whether taking part in activities, catching up with friends and family or simply reading a good book.
Our dining rooms provide a welcoming atmosphere to enjoy delicious home-cooked meals in the company of others.
The sensory gardens are landscaped with raised flower beds for our residents who like to do a spot of light gardening. They include rose gardens, a potting shed and a greenhouse where we grow our own produce.
The pets’ corner is the perfect place for our residents to sit back and relax with our birds and animals, which include chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs and chinchillas.

Our care team is on-hand 24 hours a day, every day of the year and staff are dedicated to delivering care with kindness.
To ensure we continue to provide the best standards of care and support to our residents, we recruit and train only the best staff.
Whilst they receive a variety of on-going training to ensure their skills remain up-to-date, along with an enhanced DBS check (formerly CRB), it is their dedication to our residents which makes them truly special.
We believe it is important that our residents spend their time as they choose, so have a dedicated activities person to support them to take part in interesting activities, rekindle old past times and try new things.
We have a hairdressing salon and our residents also enjoy being pampered with manicures and hand massages.
Regular activities on offer include everything from baking, light exercise sessions, animal therapy, arts and crafts, bingo, quizzes and live music entertainment.
We also host themed community events throughout the year including charitable fundraisers, summer fetes and Christmas fairs.
Our residents enjoy taking part in regular day trips to garden centres, cider farms, pub lunches and the seafront of Weston-super-Mare.
We pride ourselves on treating people as individuals, so all our residents have care plans tailored to their individual medical, social and emotional needs. We review care plans on a regular basis and involve family and friends in this process wherever possible.

Our catering team prides themselves on preparing nutritious, seasonal home-cooked meals, along with mouth-watering home-baked cakes for afternoon tea.
Residents help us to shape the menus and our catering team spends time with them to get feedback on the dishes and their likes and dislikes. They are also able to cater for a variety of dietary requirements.
Breakfast includes a wide variety of choice from cereals and toast to a traditional cooked breakfast.
Lunch and dinnertimes see a selection of sandwiches, homemade soups, salads, jacket potatoes and hot meals such as a Sunday roast with all the trimmings and favourites including fish and chips, cottage pie and a hearty casserole.
There is also an array of snacks and refreshments available throughout the day for residents and their loved ones if they get a bit peckish.
