Clinical development and progression

Your clinical development is built into your role, with structured support, clear pathways and opportunities to keep building your expertise.

Clinical support, backed by an award-winning strategy

You’ll be supported by the wider clinical and quality team, including experienced Nurses and a growing network of Advanced Nurse Practitioners providing specialist guidance when you need it. From developing your practice through use of our clinical competency framework, working with you in clinical practice to improve skills and apply learning from training. You’ll also have facilitated restorative clinical supervision, revalidation support, and the opportunity to learn enhanced or advanced practice skills.

From preceptorship programmes to ongoing training and development, you’ll have opportunities to build your skills and progress your career at every stage. Alongside this, through our clinical focus projects, you’ll have the chance to contribute to writing clinical pieces to share across the organisation, as well as receive clinical updates from teams across the group. Whether you’re newly qualified or experienced, there are clear pathways to help you grow, take on more responsibility or move into management and clinical leadership roles.
