We have 12 care homes in the Midlands which provide residential care, dementia care and respite care. They are situated in the metropolitan boroughs of Birmingham and Wolverhampton, as well as Coventry, Leicester, Telford and Staffordshire.
Our five care homes in Birmingham are located across the city in Northfield, Kings Norton, Bartley Green, Shard End and Weoley Castle.
In Wolverhampton we have two care homes in Bilston and one in Bushbury.
Our care homes in the Midlands include all of the usual comforts you’d expect such as warm and welcoming living areas, bright and airy dining rooms and cosy bedrooms which are our resident’s personal space to rest and relax in.
However, we believe it’s the personal touches and the quality of tailored care and support delivered which make them true homes for our residents.
Our staff are carefully chosen for their warm and compassionate nature and we believe that kindness is at the very heart of the care services we provide with our teams focused on delivering quality care and support which would be fit for a member of their own family.
When a resident joins us, together we take the time to build a picture of their life so far so that we can understand who they are as an individual. This enables us to ensure our residents not only receive the care and support they need but that they live happy and fulfilling lives.
All of our care homes in the Midlands have dedicated activities people who support our residents to try new experiences and rekindle old past times. Residents are encouraged to continue with the things they love whilst trying new things – giving them the opportunity to create treasured memories in the company of friends and family.
Our care homes are our residents’ homes, so loved ones and friends are welcome to join us at any time – this could be afternoon tea, when we serve freshly-baked cakes, or to enjoy a community event such as a summer BBQ or Christmas carol service.
Once a medieval market town, Birmingham has grown to be the second largest city in the UK outside of London. Sitting in the heart of the West Midlands, it has become a city rich in culture with institutions like the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Birmingham Repertory Theatre and the internationally renowned Library of Birmingham.
Birmingham is also a centre for history and science, with attractions including the city’s Museum & Art Gallery and the award-winning ThinkTank science museum.
The city has benefitted from extensive investment and re-development with popular destinations including Brindley Place, complete with a string of restaurants and art galleries, as well as The Mailbox and Bullring shopping areas.
We have three care homes in Wolverhampton, one in Bushbury in the south of the city and two in Bilston to the east. Historically an industrial area with mining at the forefront, today it is a thriving city with a wide range of restaurants and shops, a bustling market and attractions including Wolverhampton Art Gallery.
Also in the West Midlands, our care home in Coventry lies in Coundon, to the north west of the city, a stone’s throw from Coventry Transport Museum and the Belgrade Theatre.
Meanwhile our care home in Leicester is a short drive from the National Space Centre, Belgrave Hall and Gardens as well as Abbey Park.
Named after a world-renowned civil engineer, Telford is one of the fastest growing towns in the UK, with the largest shopping centre in Shropshire and a beautiful 450-acre town park.
Further north, our care home in Staffordshire is within driving distance of the popular Apedale Community Country Park, which has lovely walks, ponds, a heritage centre and light railway.
